Nick Jonas is set to star opposite Adrienne Warren in The Last Five Years on Broadway.
It has been revealed that next year Nick Jonas will be back on Broadway in New York City. The Jonas Brother singer is set to star in The Last Five Years alongside Adrienne Warren.
The Last Five Years premiered in 2001 and was produced off Broadway in 2002. It was revived off Broadway once again in 2013 and was followed by a string of shows in London in 2016. It is set to start preview shows in March 2025 and is only on Broadway for 14 weeks.
The play is based on two New York natives, one an author and one an actress, as they fall in and out of love over the course of five years. Jamie’s story, the aspiring author played by Nick, is told in a chronological order while Cathy’s story, the actress, is told in reverse chronological order. A very clever and interesting plot!
Nick has starred on Broadway before in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He took over the role from Daniel Radcliffe in 2012.
