Bradley Simpson finalised the UK leg of his tour by taking to the stage at London’s Village Underground

Bradley Simpson played a string of sold-out shows at London’s Village Underground to hundreds of adoring fans last week to finalise the UK leg of his first ever headline tour.

Bradley Simpson has just completed his first-ever solo headline tour, the self-titled tour took him to each corner of the UK and around Europe. The tour also included a string of sold-out shows at the Village Underground in London, one of which we were lucky enough to attend.

We attended the first of the three sold-out London shows and it was amazing! I have seen Bradley live numerous times with The Vamps and had already seen him solo twice before so we already knew what a great performer he is. But at this particular show, he quite literally had the crowd in the palm of his hand.

Singing just eleven songs at the gig, including four unreleased songs, Bradley put on an absolutely fantastic headline show. The fans knew the words to every single one of his songs, including the unreleased ones (very impressive!). Bradley’s vocals and energy through his set were unbelievable, his talent is really unmatched. My personal favourite of his songs is Picasso which he saved till last and it was absolutely worth the wait! I’m really excited to see what his shows next year will be like when he has released his debut album. If this show was anything to go by then 2025 is definitely going to be Bradley’s year!

As well as singing many of his own songs, Bradley also sang two covers. One was the ever-so-popular Hot To Go by Chappel Roan which the crowd absolutely loved. Watching everyone perfect the TikTok dance and sing along loudly was so enjoyable. Bradley and his two-piece band, who were also insanely talented may I add, Elena Costa and James Attwood also covered Dreams by Fleetwood Mac and it was so beautiful, probably one of my favourite performances from the whole show. The audience stayed quiet through the whole song and just listened to the vocals coming from Bradley, Elena and James. It was lovely to see the mutual respect between Bradley, the band, and his fans.

Not only was the music insanely good but Bradley kept interacting with the crowd, enabling them to feel even more involved. It’s not hard to see that he has a fantastic relationship with his fans, he chatted to them as if they were friends rather than cheering strangers. They even threw daisies in the air whilst he was singing his song Daisies which I thought was such a cute nod to the song. This bond was strengthened even further towards the end of the week when Bradley was forced to make a last-minute decision to change the venue for the final night (through no fault of his own or his team’s) and he ensured that his fans were compensated fairly.

Bradley is heading out on a UK and Ireland tour again in spring 2025, after the release of his debut album The Panic Years coming out in February 2025. If you’d like more tour information, please see here.
