Jonas Brothers kick off the ‘Greetings From Your Hometown’ tour at the Metlife Stadium

Fresh from releasing their new album Greetings From Your Hometown, the Jonas Brothers took to the stage at the Metlife Stadium last night for the very first night of their current tour.

The Jonas Brothers took to the stage at the Metlife Stadium, in East Rutherford, last night for the first night of their ‘Greetings From Your Hometown’ tour. The tour is named after the brothers’ recent album, that was only released last Friday. The album includes top hits such as ‘Love Me To Heaven’ and ‘Slow Motion’ ft Marshmello, which are both now confirmed to be on the setlist of the current tour.

As well as being named after their latest album, the tour promises to be one not to miss as it’s also the Jonas Brothers 20th anniversary this year. So as well as hearing new songs, Joe, Nick and Kevin are also singing all of their chart topping hits from over the last 20 years.

Last night’s show alone proved to be a super special one, and not just because it was in the brothers’ home state. The three brothers welcomed some very exciting guests to the stage, in front of their 80k+ adoring fans.

Let’s start with the Camp Rock reunion. Yes, you heard that right! A Camp Rock reunion! Demi Lovato joined Joe, Kevin and Nick on stage to sing some classic Camp Rock songs. This is the crossover all of us Disney kids have been waiting for, for literal years. Demi sang Wouldn’t Change a Thing and This Is Me, alongside the Jonas Brothers. The internet has, of course, gone wild for the reunion, and has set even more eyes on the upcoming ‘Camp Rock 3’ that is currently in the works at Disney.

If that performance and special guest wasn’t enough, Joe, Nick and Kevin also welcomed Jesse McCartney on stage to sing Beautiful Soul. The guests didn’t stop there with them also bringing out Switchfoot, Dean Lewis and their old security guard, Big Rob, who sang his famous rap in Burnin’ Up.

For the encore, the brothers were also joined by their family on stage. Whilst singing When You Look Me In The Eyes, their parents, younger brother, Franklin, and Kevin’s wife and kids joined them on stage. It was a very wholesome and emotional way to close the show.

What a way to kickstart a tour, I’m unsure if they could top this opening night! Are you seeing the Jonas Brothers on their 20th anniversary tour?
