Thomas Rhett has recruited Niall Horan to feature on a new version of his country song, Old Tricks.
Thomas Rhett and Niall Horan have teamed up to duet on Thomas Rhett’s original country song, Old Tricks. The crossover between the two stars may seem like a surprise. However, after listening to the song, it makes complete sense. Their voices string together perfectly.
Thomas originally released the song with country superstar, Blake Shelton, and has intrigued fans after announcing a duet to it with Niall. The duet happened due to Niall’s genuine love for the song and he reached out to Thomas, joking he should’ve featured on the song instead of Blake. Now we have two versions – one with Blake, and one with Niall.
Old Tricks is a playful classic country song, but also slightly blends with pop due to Niall’s feature. Niall’s voice works perfectly on the duet, which isn’t too surprising since he has expressed love for the genre many times. It is an extremely catchy song, even for those who aren’t country lovers.
Thomas Rhett’s album, About A Woman (Deluxe), is also released today. The deluxe edition of the album, originally released last year, contains 25 tracks. It also includes other features such as Teddy Swims and Jordan Davis, as well as Blake Shelton and Niall Horan.
You can listen to Old Tricks, and Thomas album, now. And don’t forget to let us know which version of Old Tricks you prefer – the version with Niall or the version with Blake.
