Kevin Jonas has announced his eagerly anticipated debut single, Changing.
Kevin Jonas is the only Jonas Brother that has not released any solo music, but that is about to change. The eldest of the three brothers has finally announced his long-awaited debut solo song, Changing.
Kevin has been performing his solo song during the Jonas Brothers current North America tour, with fans begging for a release date. He first sang the song back in August, during the Boston stop on the tour, just before performing it for the very first time he confessed to “being super nervous”. You can watch the video below.
Joe and Nick Jonas both have quite large bodies of solo music. Nick was the first brother to create solo music, releasing a solo album (Nick Jonas & The Administration) in 2009. Nick followed this up with a further three solo albums – self-titled (2014), Last Year Was Complicated (2016) and Spaceman (2021). Following suit, Joe released his debut solo album Fastlife in 2011 and just this year released his sophomore album, Music For People Who Believe In Love. As well as working as a soloist, Joe racked up an album with DNCE in 2016.
Now it is Kevin’s turn to revel in the solo success. Changing marks a new era for Kevin, and as a Jonas Brothers fan, it is so exciting to finally be getting solo music from him. I know I can speak on behalf of all the fandom when I say how hyped we were when he performed it live for the first time.
He has also expressed in recent interviews that it feels like the “right” time to be bringing out his solo music. We couldn’t agree more!
His wife, Danielle, posted about how emotional she was after hearing him sing Changing live for the first time. Read her post below.
Changing is due for release on 20th November. We are already on the countdown for this solo single!
