Absnt Mind release new song ‘Stitch’

The freshest boyband on the scene, Absnt Mind, released their new single Stitch last week.

The hottest new boyband, Absnt Mind, released their latest single Stitch last week. It is a super catchy song, with some recognisable R&B influence.

The five members of Absnt Mind – Freddie, Conor, Ashton, Oscar and Alex – all co-wrote the song together, alongside JC Stewart, Alex Stacey and Anya Jones, who has also written for Little Mix and the Sugababes.

The band have cited inspiration from Elton’s John’s classic ‘Benny and the Jets’ for their new track, which explains why Stitch also has a retro feel. Their new single steers them away from the typical ‘boyband-pop’, they are paving their own way in the modern industry and Stitch is prove of that.

With a total of 58k followers on TikTok, Absnt Mind are definitely making their mark as a boyband to watch. Their incredible talent, paired with their loyal fanbase, is a winning combo. They have also gained support from the likes of music giants BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1, MTV, NME and the Official Charts.

As well as success online and gaining support from music giants, Absnt Mind have also had a busy few months doing live shows. They played a string of sold-out headline shows and festivals such as Brighton Pride, Electric Picnic and Bear Grylls’ Gone Wild Festival, as well as holding down support slots for Olly Murs and the Sugababes. After a summer of sold-out headline shows and festival performances, the five-piece boyband are now back in the studio writing some more hits.

Since releasing Stitch, Absnt Mind have also announced a headline gig in London. The show is scheduled to take place on 21st December and is to be held at The Grace. Find tickets here.

All in all, Stitch makes for a great introduction to Absnt Mind. It is one of their strongest songs, for sure, and we’re really excited to see what the future holds for them. We are in desperate need of another boyband, and Absnt Mind are looking as if they can fill that space perfectly.

Listen to Stitch now.
