JLS re-release their debut album for its 15th anniversary naming it J15.
Although it is incredibly hard to believe, JLS’ self-titled debut album turns 15 this year! Their debut album soared to the top of the charts in 2009 and hit the Number One spot in the UK and Ireland. 15 years later, JLS are reissuing the album in celebration with two unplugged songs and two brand new remixes.
Way back in 2009, JLS were fresh off The X Factor, where they finished second as runners-up to Alexandra Burke. They released their debut single Beat Again which hit Number One and they shortly followed this single with Everybody In Love which also hit Number One. Both of these singles paved the way for their debut album JLS.
This year Aston, Marvin, JB and Oritsé are celebrating the 15th anniversary of their debut album by rereleasing their first-ever album. Including on vinyl, a format that it has never been on before. They have cleverly called this rerelease J15.
J15 was released last week and also includes an unplugged version of Everybody In Love and Crazy For You which were recorded over the summer. It also includes two brand new remixes of Beat Again and One Shot. Fans have been truly treated as it is not just a rerelease, it is a special anniversary edition with new versions of original songs.
